Seher Özdemir is a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages at OSTİM Technical University. She completed her undergraduate education in the Department of English Linguistics at the Faculty of Letters at Hacettepe University in 2010. During her undergraduate education, she studied Psychology as a minor. In 2008, she studied English Studies as a guest student at the University of Wroclaw, Poland, as part of the Erasmus Student Exchange Program. She completed her pedagogical formation training at the Pedagogical Formation Coordinatorship of Selçuk University in 2012. She graduated from the thesis-based master's program in the Department of English Language and Literature at the Institute of Social Sciences at Selçuk University in 2025. Her thesis topic was the demotivational factors affecting the English language learning processes of students in the preparatory class. After working as an English teacher in various colleges and language schools between 2008 and 2019, she started working as an English lecturer at Konya Food and Agriculture University, School of Foreign Languages in 2019, and as of 2025, she has been working at Ostim Technical University, School of Foreign Languages. Her areas of interest include discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and pragmatics.
