Rabia Rüveyda Demir is a lecturer at OSTİM Technical University. She earned her BA in English Language Teaching from Gazi University with honours in 2023 and completed her MA in English Language Education at Ufuk University with high honours in 2025. She has taught English to learners of different age groups in private schools and on online platforms, and she has also prepared English content and assessment materials for various publishing houses. As a founding board member of the Gazi University Foreign Language and Culture Society, she led numerous academic events and social responsibility projects. She also served as a committee member at Türkiye’s first Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder Summit and the first Children’s Literature Summit. Holding an IB (International Baccalaureate) certificate, Demir’s academic interests include intercultural communication, the impact of virtual exchange programmes on language learning, language learning motivation, children’s literature, skills-based language teaching, and innovative instructional methods. She completed her master’s degree with the thesis entitled “An Evaluation of Intercultural Competence Level of EFL Learners Joining Virtual Exchange Projects and Its Relationship with Their Language Learning Motivation.”
