Şevval Tufan is a lecturer in the Modern Languages Department at OSTİM Technical University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, with a minor in English Translation and Interpreting, from Hacettepe University in 2022. In the same year, she began her master’s studies in American Culture and Literature at Hacettepe University. In 2023, she completed a TESOL certificate and obtained a Pedagogical Formation certificate from Gazi University. She is currently working on her thesis. She has teaching experience, having worked as an instructor at Ankara Bilim University from October 2022 to March 2024, at Ankara University TÖMER from March 2024 to October 2024, and currently at OSTİM Technical University since September 2024. Additionally, she worked as a lecturer for the Ministry of the Interior between 2022 and 2023. Between 2020 and 2023, she participated in the Children's Literature Summer School at Trinity College Dublin. Her academic interests include science fiction, ecofeminism, animal studies, and video game studies, reflecting her dedication to exploring diverse and interdisciplinary fields. In addition to her interests in the social sciences, she also has experience in aviation, the automotive industry, and e-commerce.
