Murat Kılıç is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Middle East Technical University, starting in 2022. He completed his master's degree in the same field at Ege University (2019-2022) and earned his bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (2018-2022). Kılıç's academic career began as an English teacher and assistant for international projects. He has been teaching English and working as a member of the Testing Unit, responsible for preparing, assessing, and evaluating exams at OSTİM Technical University. He has earned multiple certifications related to distance education, pedagogical development, and statistical analysis. His research interests include online learning and instructional technologies, learner autonomy, self-determination and self-regulation theories, educational data analytics, and the application of instructional technologies in language learning. Kılıç has contributed to various national and international publications, including chapters in books and conference presentations. His publications include studies on online teaching readiness, mobile devices in distance learning, and course design for learner autonomy. Additionally, he has been involved in several international projects, such as ESCOLA (Digital Teaching Tools for Engineering Labs) and EMERGE (Empowering Female Entrepreneurs in Engineering).
