Hacer Kır is an English language instructor at the School of Foreign Languages at OSTİM Technical University. She completed her undergraduate education in Foreign Language Education at Boğaziçi University and her master's degree in English Language Education at the same institution. Additionally, she participated in an exchange program at Seville University's Department of Educational Sciences in 2019. Her academic interests include individual learning differences, corpus linguistics, teacher cognition, technology-enhanced language teaching, and reading strategy training. In her master's thesis, Hacer Kır examined the effects of strategy training and individual learner differences on L2 reading comprehension. She has also contributed to various projects related to language teaching and learning; one of these studies was presented as a paper at the TESOL 2022 International Congress. Apart from her academic work, she has earned certificates in various areas, including English article writing and publishing, the education of refugee children, and has participated in voluntary training programs. In 2020, she was awarded the TÜBİTAK 2210 Domestic Postgraduate Scholarship.
