Ferhan Kahvecier is an English instructor and Cambridge Speaking Examiner currently working at the School of Foreign Languages at OSTİM Technical University. She completed her Master's in Translation Studies with a thesis at Atılım University in 2023 and earned her Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Ankara University in 2013. Her professional experience spans a range of roles, including English translator and interpreter for UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees), teaching English at both high school and middle school levels in private institutions, delivering preparatory programs for university students, and providing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses for professionals. Her academic interests include the role of digital technology in language acquisition, subtitling translation, Medical English, Aviation English, and English for Media and Tourism. Ferhan has actively participated in national and international educational projects, contributed to conferences, and published research. She is particularly recognized for her work in Academic English, exam preparation courses, and media literacy education.
