Eda Şahin is a lecturer in the Department of Modern Languages at OSTİM Technical University. She completed her undergraduate studies in English Language Teaching at TED University in 2021 and earned her master’s degree in English Linguistics in 2025 from the Department of English Language and Literature at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. In her master’s thesis, titled “A Comparative Analysis of Auditory Recognition of Emotional Prosody Generated by Text-to-Speech AI Programs”, she examined the role of AI-powered speech technologies in the production of emotional prosody. Her academic interests include emotional prosody, AI-based text-to-speech (TTS) applications, the use of technology in language teaching, and the cognitive dimensions of spoken communication. Through an interdisciplinary approach, she aims to integrate linguistics, psychology, and artificial intelligence technologies to contribute to the development of innovative methods in contemporary foreign language education.
