Placement Exam
The Placement Exam is given to all new students before starting the English Preparatory Program. The exam measures students’ current level of English and places them in the most suitable class. It is not a pass or fail exam; its purpose is only to ensure that students begin their studies at the right level. The exam consists of Reading and Use of English sections.
Is it Mandatory to take the Placement Exam?
Yes. All new students are required to take the Placement Exam before starting the English Preparatory Program. Students who do not take the exam are automatically placed in the lowest level (Pre-A1).
When and where will the Placement Exam take place?
The Placement Exam will be held on 4 September 2025 at 14:30 at the Eryaman Campus. Students should check the School of Foreign Languages website for announcements regarding exam rooms on the day of the exam.
What should I bring with me to the Placement Exam?
Students must bring a pencil, eraser, and sharpener to the exam. They are also required to present a valid student ID card, national ID card, or passport for entry.
