Berfin Bakır has been working as a part-time instructor at Ostim Technical University as of October 2025. She completed her undergraduate studies in English Language Education at Hacettepe University in 2023, graduating with a GPA of 3.81. Throughout her undergraduate education, she taught primary and secondary school students at various language courses. During the 2022–2023 academic year, she volunteered at the Seda Yekeler Education Foundation, teaching English to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Shortly after graduating, she worked as a full-time English teacher at a private school at the Anatolian and Science High School levels. During the 2024–2025 academic year, she worked as an instructor at the Hacettepe University School of Foreign Languages, teaching B1 and B1+ level courses. As of the 2024 academic year, she has been pursuing a thesis-based master’s degree in English Language Education at TED University with a full scholarship. Her research interests include discourse analysis, classroom interaction, and virtual exchange. She is also interested in the development of English writing skills, as well as material development and adaptation.
